Maths Basic Facts uses a four-step approach:

• introduce the concept
• teach the mental strategies to develop the concept
• assess student knowledge and understanding of the concept and strategies
• use interactive games for practice and development of fluency in use of the strategies

All RIC Interactive software includes comprehensive teacher notes, a video introduction of the resource with accompanying notes that can be printed and used for reference, as well as additional support materials to print and use for additional activities.

The software + license is required for each computer on which the software is to be installed. For example, to install the software in 6 classrooms (with a single computer in each classroom) would require 1 x single user CD and 1 x 5 user license.
