This set of Magnetic Field Demonstrators consists of 3 different shaped coils - a circular conductor, straight conductor and solenoid coil - passing through transparent base plates to carry current so the field shape around each coil can be demonstrated. Each can be used on an overhead projector. By using plotting compasses or by sprinkling iron filings on the base plate, the magnetic field formed by the coils can easily be seen and studied.
